Panthella Portable has 2.5 watts an can be dosed via a total of three dimming levels, which deliver either 10, 33 or 100 percent of the maximum light. In combination with the permanently installed and energy-saving LED bulb, the manufacturer Louis Poulsen specifies the battery life with 5 hours at 100 percent light output. The 23 centimeter small table lamp has a shade diameter of 16 centimeters and weighs just half a kilogram. The shade of the Panthella Portable table lamp is made of white opal acrylic, while the lamp base is injection molded from acrylic. Despite its light weight, the Panthella Portable table lamp can be described as stable and robust within the scope of its possibilities.

Panthella Portable is the smallest and youngest member of the Panthella lighting family. The Panthella Portable table lamp was introduced at the end of 2019, while the Panthella Mini already illuminated the lighting market three years earlier. Both have the integrated LED technology in common. In contrast, the classic Panthella table lamp and the Panthella floor lamp, both based on a design by designer and architect Verner Pantons from 1971, are fitted and operated with conventional E27 bulb.
