Design cushions in the TAGWERC Design STORE

Cushions

Decorative cushions, pillows, seat cushions or sofa cushions – cushions like those from the Tagwerc Art Collection are true all-rounders. Because: Design cushions in particular are used wherever the ambience needs to be visually upgraded and made more attractive with just a few resources. Different cover fabrics and patterns offer the opportunity to respond to colour preferences or to tie in with an existing colour scheme. Varied patterns, motifs and materials, as well as all conceivable colour themes – the cushions shown here, such as those in the Tagwerc Art Collection, offer the greatest possible scope for design.

Appearance and comfort

Cosy and extremely high quality – all cushions, for example from the Tagwerc Art Collection, are one-of-a-kind, handmade pieces. The fabric is processed on both sides and special attention is paid to the ideal pattern. In contrast to other design cushions, the cushions from the Tagwerc Art Collection have only three seams. The zipper, which matches the colour of the cushion, is concealed, enhancing both appearance and comfort.

Softer and cosier

The Tagwerc Art Collection brings the fabric design classics of different designers into the office area and living ambience. In the case of the cushions with patterns by Alexander Girard or Verner Panton, for example, the original fabrics from the New York textile manufacturer Maharam are processed by hand in Germany and shaped with a cushion filling specially developed for woven fabrics. The premium filling cushion by Tagwerc can also be ordered separately and used for other design cushions. It makes straight solid fabrics more comfortable, softer and cosier.

Licensed fabric ‘Letters’

The cushions made of the licensed fabric ‘Letters’ by the artistic multi-talent Gunnar Aagaard Andersen are particularly hard-wearing and durable. Originally conceived as an upholstery fabric, the Tagwerc Art Collection takes the wonderful and unique textile design ‘Letters’, the memorable pattern of one of the greatest Danish designers from the second half of the 20th century, and interprets it as a decorative cushion that enhances the ambience.

Patterns, patterns, patterns

Geometric patterns on home textiles such as cushions are the perennial favourite in the furnishing sector and never go out of fashion. Design cushions on armchairs, sofas, chairs, in beds and on benches – these handy all-rounders transform any ambience from one minute to the next and give the room a completely new character. A trend that has long since become a design classic itself and with which, with little effort, the attractiveness of the ambience can be increased in a second.

A feeling of well-being and comfort

A few cushions can be used immediately – without any assembly or nerve-racking carton lugging as with other decorative objects. Cushions are light, can be used immediately and are absolutely mobile. Today they are on the armchair, tomorrow on the sofa, on the bed, the dining room chair, the kitchen bench, wherever you need them at the moment, a cushion is always at hand, always ready to enhance the feeling of well-being and living.
