VP Ypsilon – the rug by Designercarpets appears as a three-dimensional painting. Architect and designer Verner Panton, who experimented his whole lifetime with shapes and colours, developed, with the combination of squares of side length Y, this unique textile design in 1988. So the pattern, which is composed of different shades of gray, always interesting and different. Knotted from pure new wool the rug spreats a cosy atmosphere. The VP Ypsilon carpet was redesigned by Designercarpets based on the original design of Verner Panton.The carpet, made from 100% pure new wool, is decorated in shades of grey. In this case, the geometric pattern is composed of Verner Panton typical different sized rectangles, which, by their particular arrangement, create a Y and an optical illusion upon close inspection.

With its exceptional appearance the VP Ypsilon rug can be placed both, as a runner in the hallway or in transit between two connecting rooms as well as a cozy carpeting in front of a sofa in the living room or as a rug in the bedroom. On the wall, the VP Ypsilon rug reminds of a graphic relief in the style of a graphic painting.

The special livability of the VP1 rug is supported by the processed material, pure new wool. Pure new wool is seen as a renewable and biodegradable raw material, ecologically valuable.
