by Verner Panton, 1979

Shades of Grey – Verpan Luna Rug picks up one of the classic geometric patterns of the 1970s, which consists of eight different sizes of circles. From the inner to the outer circle there is a colour gradient from light gray (concrete grey) to dark gray (anthracite), almost black. Under the name ‘Luna’ Verner Panton processed this design in 1979 as part of its collection Decor IV, which brought the different geometric patterns on fabric. Verpan has launched this new design and banished it onto a round rug with a diameter of 120 centimeters.

The Luna Rug by Verpan reaches its exciting three-dimensionality by eight different shades of gray, and by means of two different pile heights. By this plasticity Luna is not only perfect as an carpeting on the floor, but at the same time as a picture and eye catcher on walls in the hallway, living room, bedroom or office area. In the TAGWERC Design STORE Luna is available in all three colour variations: gray, yellow and red.
